On a day like today by ~risenfallen:iconrisenfallen:

From a windowpane
I saw your face
And the streets
Which were infected by you
Shining
In dim light.

From a TV tower
I saw your face
Looking down,
Tumbling down upon me
Pale
And full of pity.

From a platform
I saw your face
Hiding
In blackness hollow
So
Carefully disguised.

From a naked square
I saw your face
Floating slowly
Embracing tightly
Every
Broken piece of me.

From a city’s garden
I saw your face
I breathed in
And spread my arms
Touching
The sweetness you smelt.

From an open sky
I saw your face
That black hole
Suddenly falleth into place
Or
So I thought.

O, please

These memories
Keep distracting me
On a day like today.

The idea of this so-called-lyric came when I was in a coffee shop. It was a memorable rainy eve. I don't think the ending fits into the rest but I just don't know how to change it. This sounds kinda foolish and dull. And my English vocabulary is miserable, so don't blame me...
